American Strings with Mark Greenberg ~ Folk & Vernacular Guitar, Banjo, & Mandolin Styles

In American Strings, Mark draws upon years of teaching, writing about, producing, and playing American music (Phila. Folk Workshop, Lake Country String Band, Coco & the Lonesome Road Band, Joint Chiefs of Bluegrass, Dave Van Ronk's Kazoo-o-phonic Jug Band) in a program ranging from country blues to bluegrass to original compositions.


	Anything Goes ~ Ben Koenig & Mark Greenberg from Traditional Folk to Songs Swinging Standards Ben brings 4 decades of musical experience in New York and Vermont to Anything Goes. Adept at arranging jazz and popular standards for fingerpicked guitar, he also performs a wide range of American folk songs and original compositions.

	Good Old Wagon ~ Mark Greenberg & Andy Pitt ~ Blues * Rags * Old-Time Music Andy has performed with such noted musicians as blues greats Big Mama Thornton and Junior Wells, British rocker Peter Green, and folk-blues singer Barbara Dane. He joins with Mark for free-wheeling versions of music from Rev. Gary Davis, Big Bill Broonzy, Uncle Dave Macon, Robert Johnson, and many others.

Blue Moon ~ Lafe Dutton & Mark Greenberg Traditional, Original, & Contemporary Songs

Lafe is a skilled songwriter with a love of songwriters ranging from Woody Guthrie to Bob Dylan to Michelle Shocked to Tom Waits. His bluesy harmonica playing, sensitive guitar work, and heartfelt vocals combine with Mark's more traditional approach to create the special Blue Moon sound.
